Croatian Metrology Society (HMD), with its numerous membership and thirty years of work on improving metrology in Croatia, can give you answers to many questions in the field of metrology, testing or technical rules.

Join us! We wish that these renewed pages do not remain as one way streets - only the display what we are doing and how we are thinking. Our goal is to adapt ourselves to your needs, keep ours ears open to your wishes and offer you solutions that exceed expectations and increase your competitiveness in the market. In order to achieve this we need help: your feedback and active cooperation. It is time to join us and contribute to our common future!

Why the Croatian Metrology Society? To talk about the role of metrology in this global environment, there is no need. But, even though we are living in a world of permanent change, some things must not change: the meter everywhere and always must be the meter, the second must be the second ...

That is the reason why we have set, since our foundation, the following goals and tasks:

• connecting all of those who are engaged in metrology affairs, testing, monitoring of production processes, quality supervision and similar activities, with the aim of improving the profession;
• education and training in all these areas;
• improving of metrology in Croatia for reconciliation with the European practice;
• protection of the interests of our members.

We are targeted on education - sources of knowledge are everywhere around us, and most of in our numerous membership. Therefore, the strength of our association is based mostly on our membership. Our main task is to recognize and organize all these sources of knowledge, adapt this knowledge for the exchange and offer it to all those who need it.
